Congratulations!

Take a moment and write about your assignment this week. How
does someone telling you congratulations affect your mood? How
could this potentially change your feeling about something; a task
or a preconceived notion?

Congratulations!!!!!! What can I say about a good ole fashion, genuine, and sincere congrats? What else is there to say? Whenever this happens to me I feel as though that I have not only accomplished something beneficial for myself, but that I have also accomplished something of value for someone or something other than myself. Congratulations is the ultimate "pick me up," far more effective than caffeine.

I love it when someone says this to me! I don't think we hear this word enough in daily life. Congratulation! Wow when I hear that it makes me smile and think "Well now, look at me!" That is how we want our customers to feel, that's why saying to them when they choose their color is so important. I said it to a customer the other day and the way her face lit up was great! "Congratulations Nancy your a Yellow!" She smiled and turned to her friend that came in with her and said "Cool I'm a yellow!" What this does for the customer is put them right in the middle of the experience, which is exactly where you want them to be!

Congratulations typically bring an uplifting feeling. It makes you feel as though you've accomplished something great or a difficult task.

It can potentially change a preconceived notion, such as selecting your color. It's something that others may not be able to do or it's something that is great. I now have a color; it can further that feeling of ownership and pride.
